General Contest Guidelines
STEP I. CONTESTANTS SUBMIT...

Entries will be accepted April 7 - June 30, 2008.

Entrants must verify they are submitting original, non-copyrighted artwork
and/or are authorized to do so.

Apollo reserves the right to decline any submission if it does not meet our
definition of a "standard" pattern design, or is of questionable and offensive content.

Apollo reserves the right to modify the submitted artwork in order to support production capabilities.

Submissions will be accepted for metal, black & white glass, grayscale glass, and colored glass.

Submissions will only be accepted via uploads from the Apollo website using the following file types:

AI or EPS vectored artwork

High resolution JPG, PSD, or Tiff
-
Submitted artwork should be a minimum width of 66mm.

When submitting colored glass artwork, Pantone® colors are strongly suggested
to be included in the file. If not, Apollo will choose the color they feel is the closest match.

File size cannot exceed 3 MB
-
Entrant is required to name the pattern-artwork being submitted, but Apollo reserves
the right to change the submitted name if it is either too close to a current pattern
name or is of questionable or offensive content.

Entrant may submit multiple designs.

Entrant will be notified if their submission(s) has been accepted or rejected.
STEP II. VISITORS VOTE...

All accepted entries will be posted on the Apollo website on July 2,
2008 and will remain on the site until August 31, 2008.

All website visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite patterns.
One vote per email address will be allowed.

Votes by pattern will be electronically tabulated.
STEP III. WINNER'S WIN...

Top vote getters will be included in Apollo's new patterns for 2009. The maximum number of winners
will be at least 10% of all accepted entries, not to exceed 25.

Winners will be notified by email by September 15, 2008.

If chosen as a winning pattern, entrant agrees to relinquish rights to the artwork to Apollo.

Winning entrants will receive the following:

Personal name on the pattern.

Ex. J. Smith Leaf Breakup

A commemorative plaque that includes the pattern.

Inclusion in Apollo's library of patterns shown in its product
catalog, posters, and on its website.

Industry press.
-
Recognition when an Apollo donation is given to industry charity
"Behind the Scenes" for winning patterns sold in 2009.
Apollo reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Design-A-Pattern
contest at anytime for any reason.
